Life is good. is a New England-based apparel and accessories brand best known for its optimistic t-shirts and hats featuring a smiling stick figure named Jake and his trusty dog Rocket. In 1989 brothers Bert and John Jacobs began selling T-shirts out of an old van at colleges and street fairs up and down the East Coast. By the brothers own admission they "collected some good stories, but were not very prosperous." In 1994 they adopted the mascot "Jake", a smiling stick figure and the mantra "Life is good." - together expressing everything the brothers believed in. With that, the "Life is good." brand was born and has grown to become a successful company offering apparel and accessories with a positive message...."Life is good."
