The Diary of Alicia Keys is the second studio album by American R&B-soul artist Alicia Keys, released on December 2, 2003 in the United States. In 2005, the album earned Keys the Grammy Award for Best R&B Album.
The album includes the hit singles "You Don't Know My Name", "If I Ain't Got You", "Diary", and "Karma". It became Keys' second consecutive number-one debut on the U.S. Billboard 200 with first-week sales of over 618,000 copies. In addition, the album has sold over four million copies in the United States and more than nine million copies worldwide.
